Autoblog is a simple plugin for placing your site posts on a Wordpress page or sidebar and customising how it looks in a clean and flexible way. 

== Description ==
Autoblog is a simple plugin for placing your site posts on a Wordpress page or sidebar and customising how it looks in a clean and flexible way. 

If you ever thought of just showing posts from one or all categories, on a page in  either 2, 3 or 4 columns?

If you ever wanted to be able to customised how the posts display on your page, e.g. with or without post date?

If you also wanted to determine the size of the thumbnail image, or not show a thumbnail at all?

You wanted to be able to show or hide the readmore link?

Then, Autoblog is for you!

With Autoblog, you can easily customised these attributes by simply dropping a shortcode on the page where you want the posts to appear and specify the parameters as below:

[autoblog columns="3" perpage="10" category_name="General" showdate="yes" showthumb="medium" readmore="yes"]

Voila! You have a clean blog page just the way you want it!

What is even better is that you can add the Autoblog widget on your sidebar and configure it graphically to achieve the same thing as the shortcode.

== Installation ==
Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles everything itself. To do an automatic install of BuddyPress, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.

In the search field type “Autoblog” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found it, you can view details about the latest release, such as community reviews, ratings, and description. Install Autoblog by simply pressing “Install Now”.

Once activated, you can:

-    Add a shortcode to a page and specify the parameters the way you want it to display. See example in description.
-    Add an Autoblog widget on your sidebar on any page and use the widget configuration tool to configure how you want it to display
